Mountain Opportunities Corporation

Mountain Opportunities Corporation administers a Federal Program in cooperation with the West Virginia Housing Development Fund. MOC is dedicated to providing affordable housing for low to moderate income persons and families in the Harrison County Area.​ 

Our units include central AC, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer hook-ups. Each of our 1 bedroom units are approximately 1,000sqft and our 2 bedroom units are approximately 1,150sqft. Rent is per month. Utilities are not included. Section 8 Housing Voucher is accepted. No pets. No Smoking. $16 application fee for background check.

Mountain Opportunities Corporation also administers an owner-occupied rehabilitation program for low to moderate residents of Harrison County that own their own home. Homeowners can qualify for $25-$30,000 in home repairs through this program. The owner-occupied program looks at the five (5) major systems of the home, which include:
            - Roofing
            - Foundation
            - HVAC
            - Plumbing 
            - Electric
